Google Analytics Key

Paste your key here. It should be something like UA-XXXXX-X. We're using the faster asynchronous loader, so you don't need to worry about speed :).

 

"Scroll to Top" Button

It is found in the bottom right side. It is sole purpose is help the user scroll along page quickly to the top.

 

Feedback Button

It is found on the right hand side of your website. You can chose from a"link" or a slide out form(widget area).The slide out form is configured as a standard widget. You can use the same form you are using for your "contact us" page.

 

Feedback Button Link

If you have chosen a "link" in the option above,  place the link of the button here, usually to your contact us page.

 

Share Icons

Select the social medias you want enabled and for which parts of the website

 

Custom Javascript

If the hundreds of options in the Theme Options Panel are not enough and you need customization that is outside of the scope of the Theme Option Panel please place your javascript in this field.

 

Custom CSS

If the hundreds of options in the Theme Options Panel are not enough and you need customization that is outside of the scope of the Theme Options Panel please place your CSS in this field.

Use an unique string without spaces. It must not be the same as any other URL slugs (used on pages, etc.).

How do I use these options?


These options control the size of some of the images used by the theme. 

Changes are not immediate

If you have changed any of these options, please use the Regenerate thumbnails plugin in order to update your images.

This image is used in News Style Blog in columns. You can set it to 0 to disable this and the option below and show the real size of the images.

Why do you need this information?


Filling these fields allows us to implement automatic updates for your Vamtam theme. Your theme will still be working if you leave these options empty, although you will have to install updates manually.

Updating using FTP is only for advanced users and you can’t update the bundled with the theme plugins using FTP method.

Please note that any modifications made to the theme files will be overwritten after an automatic update, if you do not have a child theme enabled. Your theme options and content will be preserved.


Your Envato Username


Your Envato API Key

Do not share your API key with people you can't trust! Your API key gives them access to your purchased items. See this page for a description of the Envato API and how to obtain an API key.


Your Item Purchase Code

To obtain the Item Purchase Code login to your ThemeForest account that was used to purchase the theme with. Click on your "Downloads" section and then click on "License certificate and purchase code". This will prompt you to either open or save a text file containing your purchase license information. Look for Item Purchase Code

 

Validate Purchase Information

Please be aware that without this information you can't use the automatic update feature. Updating using FTP is only for advanced users and you can’t update the bundled with the theme plugins using FTP method.

 

Disable System Status Information Gathering

By enabling this option you will opt out of automatically sending our support system detailed information about your website. Please note that we might be able to respond more quickly if you leave this disabled. We advise you to turn off this option before opening a support ticket. Here is the information that we collect when this option is disabled:

memory limit

is wp_debug enabled

list of active plugins and their versions

POST requests limit

allowed number of request variables

default time limit

permissions for the cache/ directory inside the theme

does wp_remote_post() work as expected

None of this information will be shared with third parties.

Please note that in full width layout mode, the body background option found in Styles - Body, acts as page background.

 

Maximum Page Width

If you have changed this option, please use the Regenerate thumbnails plugin in order to update your images.

Please note that the theme uses Layered Slider and its option panel is found in the WordPress navigation menu on the left

 

Header Height

This is the area above the slider.


Sticky Header

This option is switched off automatically for mobile devices because the animation is not well sported by the majority of the mobile devices.

Body << Tab

 

Body Layout


You can enable or disable the body top widget areas and the body sidebar areas.
Below you can set the width of the sidebars in the body .
This will be the default layout for all pages
Note: You can override some of the options on a page by page basis: enable/disable body sidebars and body top widget areas.

 

Enable Body Top Widget Area

This option only enables the widget areas. You can choose the layout using the two options bellow. In appearance - widgets, you can populate the area with widgets. You can override this option on a page-by-page basis.

 

Body Top Widget Area Pre-defined Layouts

The widget areas bellow are placed just below the page title.  You can either choose one of the predefined layouts or configure your own in the "Advanced" section bellow.

 

Body Top Widget Area Advanced Layout Builder

Please choose the number of widget areas and adjust each widget area's settings. You can adjust the width of each widget area from the drop - down menu and place them in one to six rows by using 'last' option. 'Empty' is used if you do not intend to place a widget into certain widget area. If there is no widget in an widget area and this option is not ticked the layout may be broken.

 

Default Sidebar Layouts

The sidebars are placed just below the header and the slider. You can choose one of the predefined layouts.
You can override this option on a page-by-page basis.

 

Sidebar Width

The width is percent of the website width. If you have changed this option, please use the Regenerate thumbnails plugin in order to update your images.

 

 

Footer << Tab

 

Footer Layout


You can enable or disable the footer widget areas and choose the desired layout. This will be the default layout for all pages.

Please not that the footer map options are located in general settings - footer map tab.

 

Enable Footer Widget Area

This option only enables the area. You can set the layout, using the two options bellow.  In appearance - widgets, you can populate the area with widgets.

 

Footer Widget Area Prе-defined Layouts

The widget areas bellow are placed between the body and the sub-footer. You can either choose one of the predefined layouts or configure your own in the "Advanced" section bellow.

Page Background

Please note that this option is used only in boxed layout mode.
In full width layout mode the page background is covered by the header, slider, body and footer backgrounds respectively. If the color opacity of these areas is 1 or an opaque image is used, the page background won't be visible.
If you want to use an image as a background, enabling the cover button will resize and crop the image so that it will always fit the browser window on any resolution.
You can override this option on a page by page basis.

 

Accent Colors

Most of the design elements are attached to the accent colors below. You can easily create your own skin by changing these colors.

Where are these options used?


The options bellow are used for headings, titles and emphasizing text in different parts of the website.
Please note that some of the options for styling text are present in header, body and footer tabs as they are specific only to each area - for example, main menu, body general text, footer widget titles, etc.
Some combinations of typography settings are not possible - for example, not all fonts feature a 300 weight. In such cases the browser substitutes the font with its default setting.

Save Current Skin

If you use the same name as a previously saved skin it will overwrite the latter.

 

Import Saved Skins

If you have made changes on the active skin, please save it before activating another skin. Otherwise you will lose these changes.

 


Quick Import

 

Content Import

You are advised to use this importer only on new WordPress sites, as in doing so you will end up with quite a lot of example posts, pages, slides and portfolio items.


Widget Import

Using this importer will overwrite your current sidebar settings


Slider Revolution

The theme uses Layered Slider and its option panel is found in the WordPress main navigation menu on the left.

You will import the sliders seen in the demo website using this importer.
