In order to edit/remove the social icons and text in the Top Bar Area, please follow the steps below:






Step 1:

Please go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Top Bar







Please note that you can change the layout of the top bar from the option Layout.


TIP:

If you need to add social icons that not pre-built, we recommend using the "Text" layout instead of the one with social icons, and then putting the relevant [icon] shortcodes inside. You can use the page editor to generate the shortcodes: How to use shortcodes






Select "Disabled" if you need to deactivate the Top Bar section.




Step 2: 

You can place text/HTML or any shortcode in this field. If you add only text, please skip step 3, 4 and 5. 

 

 

Step 3:

You can also use the Vamtam Drag and Drop editor of a post/page text editor to generate shortcode:

Step 4:

Please switch to the Text editor and copy the code. You can use the shortcut setting: Cmd+C / Ctrl+C (for Copy) and Cmd+V / Ctrl+V (for Paste)




Step 5:
Please go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Top Bar > and paste the code in the Text field. 




Step 6:
Hit Save & Publish button.

Step 7:
To see the changes please refresh your browser and/or clear browser cache.



Mobile Top Bar

In order to activate the Top bar area on mobile, please add the content in Dashboard > Mega Menu > General Settings > Mobile Top Bar
