In order to install VamTam theme via the Admin Panel, please follow the instructions below.

Step 1:

First of all, please download your theme from your Themeforest account. Make sure you download the Installable Wordpress file only. This is ready to install theme.zip file.

Step 2:

 

Please log in to your administration panel. Go to the Appearance panel, then Themes. Click on the Add New button.

Step 3:

Please click on the Upload Theme button.

Step 4:

 

Please click on the Choose file button.

Step 5:

Please choose the installable  zip file you have downloaded in Step 1.

Step 6:

Please click on the Install Now button.

Step 7:

Please click on the Activate link.

Step 8:

If you are not yet familiar with WordPress, it is a must to import the theme's dummy content. Prior to importing the dummy content you have to install and activate the required plugins, so just put a tick to mark for installation all the plugins. Next choose from the drop down menu the bulk action "Install" and click on the Apply button.

Step 9:

Once the required plugins are installed and activated, please click on the "Continue with theme setup button" below the plugins' list.

 

Step 10:

Step 1 of the Vamtam Theme Setup is optional, but highly recommended, especially if your server has a low memory limit. Please click the Install MU Plugin button.

Once you see All done. you can continue with Step 2.

Step 11:

 

Next Step 2 of the Vamtam Theme Setup requires to fill in your Envato Purchase Key. Please check this article if you don't know Where to get Your Item Purchase Key from

Step 13:

Once the content is imported you'll see a green notice "Imported."
